About Epic.
Epic Elopements was born out of two things:
​
1. Couples coming to Ohio's Wine Country and telling me how hard it was to find help eloping.
​
2. Going through my own wedding planning struggles. We trusted the wrong people and our wedding day dreams turned into logistical nightmares. ​
​
Coming from the hospitality & food and beverage industries, I have a passion and drive for creating amazing experiences for couples and what better area is there to do it in? Cleveland cityscapes, national parks and trails in Cuyahoga Falls, vast views of Lake Erie, the Grand River, and rolling hills of Ohio's vineyards offers so many unique and epic opportunities to be the backdrop for these, well, "epic" elopements.

My goal is that when you look back on your wedding day, no matter the size, what you remember the most is how you spent it with each other and not running around worried about each element of the day.​

Who are we?
We are a one stop shop for those who struggle with the idea of planning a wedding, no matter how big (or small).

We specialize in small weddings and happy to host them in any location: in a field, at home, the venue of your choice, on the side of a mountain- we're there for you.

Some things you may want to know, but not sure how to ask.
What is the cost?
It depends as our packages are all customizable. So you get to control the costs.
Our officiation fee is $450 but our weddings can be as much as $45k+ depending on the details. The budget is really up to you.

You come to us with your budget and we will make that work the best we can. We are always honest and up front about the budget but we are as flexible as we can be to make your wedding day happen, with our help.
​
Our base fees depend on how far we need to travel, your guest count, and the amount of work that goes into the day. Those fees can range from $950 to $3,500. Any vendors we organize we charge a 20% fee on top of their total to cover liability, contract signing, payment handling, and insurance.

When you come to us with a budget that total will include our fees. Think we’re out of your price range? Nah. We’re here for you. A conversation doesn’t hurt. We take no up front fees. There are no fees until your wedding is planned and you agree on the total cost. Let us show you what we can do.
Do you travel?
We love to travel however, the size of the wedding does depend on how far we are able to travel. If you are looking for an elopement, we will travel up to 3 hours to meet you. If you are hosting a larger event, our max is usually 1.5 hours as we need time to set up and tear down before we get there or head home. Long drives equal long days and we want you to get the best of what we can offer. Currently, we travel to Western Pennsylvania and through Ohio. We are always looking to expand our horizons, literally. :D
Who are your photographers?
We have a lot of very talented photographers. Our photographers are all listed here. You can also look at their work on our “work” page or throughout our site.
What if we have our own officiant or other vendors?
We play well with others. Every once in a while, a couple will have already secured a venue or a photographer, even an officiant, that's fine by us. We communicate with them just as we would have if we organized them. Its our job to keep everyone on task and to keep you stress-free.
Are you LGBTQ Friendly?
Hell yes! Love is love. Our only goal is to provide you with a relaxing and stress-free wedding day.​ Please know that this is a safe space and we are here to help in anyway we can. All couples are welcome. All ideas are welcome.
Who is a good fit for an Epic Elopement?
Our weddings are from 2 people to 250. Our couples are flexible, usually have a good idea of how to allocate their budget and they are happy to make compromises when needed. But most importantly, our couples are focused on the end result; a happy marriage, not going into debt, still having their moment to celebrate, and being stress-free while doing it.
